Golang Job: Frontend Developer (m-f-d)

ABOUT THE TEAM:
Our development team consists of specialists in frontend, backend, QA, product, etc, we work in small cross-functional teams that give everybody insight and hands-on experience of what everyone else is doing. Each team is self-sustained, autonomous and responsible for a specific feature in our platform. We believe strongly in opening opportunities for developers to be mentored and grow their skills. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in a small cross-functional team
• Develop the visual and functional designs in the heart of our ReactJS web application
• Review others code and ensure that quality standards are maintained
• Advise team members in their day-to-day coding tasks as well as with overall architectural decisions
• Collaborate with our UX team to improve the user experience and interface of our product
• Cooperate with the team and customer representatives to plan projects
• Mentor others, both junior developers on their learning paths and more experienced developers who are interested in learning about new fields

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Founded experience with modern web technologies (e.g. React, Vue.js, Angular)
• Understanding REST APIs, passion for typed Javascript code (e.g. Typescript, Flow)
• Interest in rich and friendly User Experience and Interfaces
• Big-picture thinking; You collaborate with non-developers to clarify requirements and help plan projects, with an eye on the overall impact to the business & product
• Proactive attitude in improving the product, the team, its processes and our code base

ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY:
Our tech stack from the bottom up:

• Google Cloud Platform (Container Engine)
• PostgreSQL
• Go for our API & rule engine ("golang" for the search engines)
• TypeScript, React, Redux and CSS modules for our web application
• Cypress for automated end-to-end testing
• Other odds & ends in JavaScript and shell script
